SOS Students Offering Support

November 1 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am

As our teens enter their final years of high school their growing independence leaves us with feelings of pride and concern. Two areas that are frequently overlooked are teen dating violence and sexual assault. In an effort to empower and educate young people on relationship abuse and sexual assault, the Carroll County State’s Attorney’s Office created an educational assembly called “S.O.S.” an acronym for Students Offering Support.  S.O.S. is aimed at teaching students to effectively recognize the signs of relationship abuse and sexual assault and connecting them with area resources.
