The State’s Attorney Office will be participating in the Oklahoma Road Middle School Drug and I.T. Forum on Thursday March 30, 2017 starting at 7:00 p.m. The school is located at 6300 Oklahoma Road, Sykesville, Maryland. The event is free and open to the public but is designed for adults only.
Parents will have the opportunity to learn about important issues our children are facing from the perspective of law enforcement, Health Department, high school principal and a parent advocate who lost her son to drugs. There will be a panel discussion of the following agencies: Erin Brilhart, Principal, Oklahoma Road Middle School, Brian DeLeonardo, Carroll County State’s Attorney, Sheriff Jim DeWees, Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, Stephen Guthrie, Superintendent of Carroll County Public Schools, Beth Schmidt, Parent Advocate, and Master Deputy Worthington Washington, Carroll County Sheriff’s Office. Each agency will explain their role and experiences, followed by a questions and answer session with parents.
